Family applications for direct sponsorship open August 20.
Do not enter street addresses, SSNs, exact birthdates, school names, diagnoses, legal records, or detailed trauma history. Delivery details are requested after approval only when needed.
Support is not guaranteed. Submitting an application does not guarantee gifts, meals, clothing, delivery support, or sponsorship. Help depends on eligibility review, available donations, and sponsors being found for families.

Direct sponsorship requirements
- Applicants must be Minnesota parents or legal guardians.
- Children must be age 17 or younger.
- Proof of parentage is required for each child.
- Minnesota ID, proof of address, and proof of income are required.
- Legal guardians or foster parents must provide guardianship paperwork.
After documents are reviewed
Approved family information can be added to a sponsor list. Sponsors choose families that fit their capacity. If a sponsor chooses your family, you will be connected directly. Families may not request extra help from sponsors beyond the holiday sponsorship.
